Ratings are a bust

I’ve come to the conclusion that ratings for movies are well, useless at best.  Recently, my family has altered ratings for our own purpose and meaning.  R means XX, PG-13 means R and PG is PG-13 (maybe).  This week my family and I watched ‘Hancock’.  Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Jason Bateman and the amazing director Peter Berg.  Should of been a winner right?  Wrong! What a bust!  Besides being a poorly written script, it was very confusing as to what audience this movie was targeted for.  An alcoholic, foul-mouthed super-hero?  You’ve got to be kidding.  Shame on me for accepted the PG-13 rating at face value.
